About Me

When I was expecting my first child last year, my husband got a new job in the midwest and we relocated to Indianapolis from the east coast when I was 7 months pregnant. As I was preparing for first-time motherhood and trying to build a home for our family in a brand new city, I found it challenging to find information that was useful to me and to find the time to sift through all of the various pieces of advice online for what I needed for the baby, turning our house into a home and trying to remember to eat along the way.

I am not a designer, a chef or a stylist, but I know what I like. I run my own business, am a busy new mom and live with my husband, our young son and our poorly behaved dog. I’m starting this website as a creative way to share great lifestyle, motherhood and food finds for other women with a lot on their plates. I’m just trying to figure it all out, willing to try new things and share what I discover with others. Welcome to Northeast Corridor!
